UPDATE: On The Active Shooting Reported In Madison Suburb

Here's the update to the active shooting situation that happened earlier today in Middleton, WI (a suburb of Madison).

Fox6 shares that the shooter has died and three others were wounded.

"Police were called to WTS Paradigm shortly before 10:30 a.m. Three people suffered gunshot wounds. The suspect was engaged by officers — and then shot by officers."

The conditions of those wounded are as follows: 2 are in serious condition and 1 remains in critical condition. The shooter has dies as a results of his injuries.

An active shooting incident has been reported in this Madison, Wisconsin suburb.

Fox6 reports that police have responded to a report that shots were fired at this Middleton, WI commercial business "houses Esker Software and WTS Paradigm."

"Dane County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Elise Schaffer confirmed there was an “active shooter situation” and said her office is assisting Middleton police."

One employee of WTS said she heard a noise “like somebody was dropping boards on the ground, really loud” and realize it was gunfire. She ran from the building and hide behind a car.

She noticed that the building entryway's glass door had been shattered and one co-worker had been grazed by a bullet.

All business around the building were put into lockdown as police continue to investigate.
