TRAFFIC ALERT: Multi Vehicle Pile-Up Accident On US 20

Motorists be advised, a major accident is slowing traffic for Rockford travelers on Rt 20 on Friday evening.

We have received word that a six car pile up in the eastbound lanes of US 20, west of the Alpine Rd exit.

No word on injuries, but we are getting reports of a vehicle rolled over. Expect traffic to come to a slowdown quite a bit on your Friday evening commute.
