Today is Earth Day!

Here are a few tips that we can do to help our planet Earth.

According to this Associated Press article from WREX News, there are a few things you can start doing today to help save our planet. Today being Earth Day is a great day to start putting these things in practice.

- Conserve water. We waste about 400 gallons of water a day. Start taking shorter showers turn off the faucet when brushing your teeth.

- Conserve Gasoline. We waste about 385 million gallons of gas every day. Start by car pooling if you can, or take public transportation, bke, walk, etc... if you're able to. Otherwise try to make all of your errands in one trip. Plan out your day.

- Conserve Energy by replacing your incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulb. Just by replacing 16 incandescent bulbs, you can save enough energy that equals taking road trips for one year!

- Recycle your paper. 40% of our waste is from paper clogging our landfills.
