Time to Party! Did You Know Illinois Is Home to the World’s Largest Rooftop Bar?

One of my favorite things about the warmer months is getting to relax and enjoy a meal and/or drinks at a restaurant patio or rooftop bar. There is just something so alluring to me about grabbing drinks with family and friends outdoors surrounded by great scenery, and I think I just came across the perfect rooftop bar to do exactly that this summer.

Have You Been to Offshore Chicago Before?

On the East end of Chicago's Navy Pier, you will find an awesome rooftop bar called Offshore Chicago.

Not only does this bar offer great food and drinks, a SPECTACULAR view of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan, but it's officially the largest rooftop bar in the World according to the Guinness Book of World Records;

The largest rooftop bar measures 4,859.78 m² (52,310 ft² 41 in²), and was achieved by Offshore Rooftop & Bar (USA), at Chicago’s Navy Pier, in Chicago, Illinois, USA, on 20 June 2019.

Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you the best part, Offshore Rooftop & Bar is open year-round, in all kinds of weather, thanks to its collapsible floor-to-ceiling windows!

I think we've now established that Offshore Chicago is a great place to grab a cocktail or two, but it's also a great place to grab a meal, (see the menu here), host your next event, or better yet, wedding!
