Three of America’s Best Indoor Water Parks are Close to Rockford

If you're planning a summer vacation, you won't have to go too far to stay at some of the best indoor water parks in America.

Sure, the weather is fine for an outdoor water park, and believe me, with Hurricane Harbor in our backyard and Noah's Ark in Wisconsin Dells, you've got some great options.

However, if you're looking for a great indoor water park, there are plenty of good ones nearby too.

A few of them have multiple locations in the US and one actually has two spots close enough to Rockford where you can decide which one you want to visit.

HOW DID WE GET HERE?

According to USA Today's Reader's Choice Awards, they picked DreamWorks Water Park in New Jersey as the best in America.

If you look at the entire list you'll see three rather familiar-looking water parks.

In at #2 and right behind DreamWorks is Kalahari Resorts in Wisconsin Dells.

According to their website, "From toddlers to teens and moms to dads, everyone finds their oasis at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells, WI."

Great Wolf Lodge also has multiple locations, with one in Gurnee and the other in Wisconsin Dells. Their resorts are at #5 on the list of the best indoor water parks in America.

The last water park to make the list that's close to Rockford is in Lake Geneva.
