First blush, it looks like a great coup, but then you realize it's a phony deal.

I noticed the phony Kohl's coupon thing yesterday while looking at Facebook and noticed that it had been shared a bunch.

Thinking that it was too good to be true, I decided to do a bit of research on the coupon.

First thing that led me to be a bit skeptical was web address, kohls.com-loveit.com. OK, that's a bit concerning. If it was the real deal Kohl's website I wouldn't be so meh towards the coupon.

Then you notice the insane savings, like "$75 off any purchase of $80 or more."

The worst part of the fake Kohl's coupon according to WBAY is "it really could open you and your family and friends up to the possibility of viruses or ransomware."

Morale of the story, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.
