Things Will Be Getting Slick in Rockford Tuesday Night

Just when we thought we could take a breather from extreme winter weather in the Rockford area, Mother Nature's like, wait, hold my beer.

Yes, I know it is winter in the Midwest and that we need to be prepared to deal with snow, freezing temps, and ice at all times, but dang, can't we get just one week without worrying about how we're going to get to work in this weather?!?

I don't know about you, but I despise ice. I also despise seeing this on the US National Weather Service Chicago's Facebook page...

Mother Nature, please get your act together....at least for a week of two. Trust us, we don't need more practice driving in winter weather...we're well trained and way over it right now.
