The season of hauntingly good fun is almost here, and if you'd like to add another must-see event to your Halloween scare list, there's a perfect one in Edgerton, Wisconsin.

The Haunted Train of Terror will begin another season of screaming and scaring on October 14, and will continue every Saturday and Sunday through Halloween. This haunted train ride begins at 51 East Cox Road which is in between Janesville and Edgerton, WI. Patrons take a 20-minute ride on an antique train with many frights awaiting them.

Now, if you have some train-obsessed kids in your family like I do you're probably thinking,"it's too bad this is too scary for the kids, they would absolutely love it". Well, the good news is, the kiddos can still be a part of the fun. The Haunted Train of Terror offers a Spooky Halloween Train from 3 to 6 p.m. each day, which features a lot of less of the scary ghouls and ghosts. Yes!

If you want to hop on board one of these haunted train rides here's the details you need:

  • Trains run every 20 minutes from 3 to 10 p.m. on Saturdays starting October 14th, and from 3 to 9 p.m. on Sundays starting October 15th. (Don't forget the super scary stuff doesn't start until after 6 p.m. each day)
  • Cost is $8 per person ages 8 and up, $5 ages 4-7, 3 and under are free...Cash only.
  • Food and drinks, plus fun games for the kids are available while waiting for your train to depart.
