Rudy Parris from the The Voice stopped by Q98.5 today and we put him to work, in a fun way!

Yes, if you stop by to see us here at Q98.5, we are all gonna have a little fun.

Warrior records recording artist Rudy Parris was in the neighborhood on Thursday and stopped in to Q98.5 to visit with Mark Charvat.

Rudy is probably best known for his appearance on team Blake on season three of "The Voice" and for his country music that could best be described as the Bakersfield sound.

Artists like Dwight Yoakam, Merle haggard and Buck Owens have been a big influence on Parris

When Rudy visited Q98.5, instead of the typical sit down interview, I decided to have Rudy play a little game of Connect 4. The game didn't go exactly as planned, but we had fun as I asked Rudy about his music, Cheap Trick and his experience on The Voice.

Rudy's first single is called party out back

Needless to say, we can expect big things from Rudy in the future and can't wait to hear more.
