Family Dollar

The brand's parent company is considering its options.

Well, this was unexpected by many. What began as a purchase of one big bargain retailer by another has resulted in 1,000 Family Dollar stores closing. The question now is if and/or how many Missouri and Illinois locations will be affected.

Normally when there's a recall notice, it's for one or two products. Even the bigger recall notices that we see only cover maybe 10-15 items. But this announcement from Family Dollar stores covers literally hundreds of products that are being pulled from store shelves.

Selling alcohol is the latest effort, from Familia's Dollar, to attempt to overhaul their stores. And it's not the only change coming.
