Taco Tuesday Ruined: Fire Destroys Rockford Taco Truck

A taco truck on E. State Street was completely destroyed Monday afternoon when a spark ignited a fire.

Primo's Tacos truck used to park in front of Just Tires on E. State Street but now only remnants of the truck remain. According to reports, no one was hurt in the fire.

The fire was started accidentally when a spark ignited while an employee was pouring gas, according to WIFR.com.

Fire officials say employees tried to refill a generator that was still warm, then a spark ignited the fire from gasoline.

Hopefully, the folks at Primo Tacos are able to get a new truck and be up and running sooner than later.
