We're inching back to being able to do fun things in the Rockford and that includes a trip to Summerfield Farm and Zoo.

Obviously, it's not a free for all at the zoo, there are new rules put in place at the zoo to allow for social distancing and safety.

So what does this mean for your trip?

According to Summerfield's website, you are to bring a face covering or a mask with you to the zoo and use it when you can't maintain six feet apart from others.

There will be no pony rides, and the baby goat area will be by reservation only and last half an hour.

Hand sanitizer stations will be set up as well as hand washing stations throughout the zoo.

A chance to get outside and see the animals definitely sounds doable at Summerfield!
