While studying, students in Illinois enjoy this snack the most.

I was that kid in school, that each year during conferences, the teacher would tell my parents that I wasn't living up to my potential. Then, they would force me to do homework after school every day. I didn't really enjoy that. I wasn't the worst student but the teacher was right. Sometimes, I just couldn't get into my work. Especially, reading. Maybe, I just didn't have the proper motivation.

My daughter is the complete opposite. I'm very happy about that. She gets home from school, takes a little break by watching TV and having a snack. Then, it's homework time. We never had to tell her to do it. I'm so proud.

Now, we're in a completely different world for class. There's the e-learning thing. Many had trouble with it to end the last school year. Let's call that practice. Now, it's for real. Parents are going to have to figure out a way to motivate their children to work hard with their studies.

Setting up a proper environment is key to this difficult situation. That means away from the television and video games. A real-life work station with a computer, books, and supplies. Oh, by the way, don't forget the food. They're going to need breakfast, lunch, and, of course, the all-important snacks. No decent studying can happen without a tasty treat.

The big question is what to get. Well, next time you make a trip to the grocery store, be sure to add this special item to your list. For kids in Illinois, it's their favorite study snack.

According to timeout.com,

"Let's be honest: we all need a little something to snack on while trying to focus. Whether it's a piece of chocolate to boost our levels of concentration or some chips to hold us over for a few more hours, the snacks we eat while studying run the gamut from sweet to savory and are, most likely, not that healthy. But we all deserve to cheat on our diets every so often."

As you can see, the kids in Illinois enjoy Oreos while studying. I think that's a nice choice. Now, I want to find out what flavor. I guess I'll just have to wait until the next research project about snacks.
