Last week I reported that REI announced it would be closed on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, now we get word that a the list of stores closing doors for Thanksgiving is starting to get longer.

Several companies have announced they will not open their doors on Thanksgiving to allow their employees time with their families for the holiday.

A Boycott Black Thursday Facebook page gaining a lot of popularity. The page was started in 2014. and their mission is to encourage shoppers to boycott any retailer that chooses to extend massive Black Friday sales into Thanksgiving Day. Their motto: "Protect the employees, protect the family"
