Some Famous Pizza, (And Gas Too) Is Coming to Harrison & Mulford

For weeks the chatter from my neighbors on the Nextdoor app has been about the heavy equipment appearing on the empty plot of land at the corner of Mulford and Harrison.

For weeks these same neighbors have been saying the site is the future home of a Casey's General Store, but I refused to get my hopes up that this delicious gas station pizza will soon be a stones throw from my neighborhood. Then I drove by the corner over the weekend, and finally got the proof I needed...

HOORAY!

Building on the site has just recently begun, so opening day is still a ways away, but the newest Rockford location is already listed on Casey's website, and that makes me oddly happy.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for when this new Casey's location begins hiring, and I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
