The Stateline's first snowfall of winter 2015-2016 was a whopper! One of the biggest November snowstorms since official recorded records started being kept.

Since 1906, this snow event is the second largest November snowstorm on record in Rockford.

Hooray for Capron, you're #1 in snowfall total! The snow is still coming down in many parts of the Stateline, so these amounts will most likely increase over the next few hours. The heaviest snow occurred near the Illinois/Wisconsin Border. Rockford snow total range from 7" to as high as 13". The official reading is taken at Rockford airport.
