Sheryl Crow enlisted some heavy hitters for her new song. The pop-rock and sometimes country singer collaborated with Maren Morris and Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks on her latest song, "Prove You Wrong."

Crow drafted the all-star guests for her new single, which features a mid-tempo groove and an instantly-singable melody, with Crow drily advising an ex that she is moving on despite his protestations.

"It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong / It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong / I got my mind made up and my high heels on / It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong," she sings in the chorus.

Morris and Nicks join her for spotlight moments on the track, with Morris adding her voice to the bridge, while Nicks contributes her signature vocals toward the end of the track. Crow shared via Twitter that Vince Gill, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh and Waddy Wachtel all joined her on the track as well.

The result is a mid-tempo track that features the kind of strong melody that has been Crow's trademark, which will have fans singing along after the first verse and chorus.

"Prove You Wrong" is the third song that Crow has previewed from her forthcoming album of celebrity duets, Threads. She teamed with an old recording of Johnny Cash for a new joint version of her song "Redemption Day," and worked with Mavis Staples and Bonnie Raitt for a song titled "Live Wire." The Grammy winner says Threads will be her last official full-length album release.

"It makes a lot of time and money and energy to create a fully artistic statement with a beginning, a middle and end. And, you know, you hope you have a song that lands on a playlist somewhere. People just don't listen to albums anymore," Crow muses to Nashville Public Radio. "So I feel like this is a good one to go out on. And in the future, when I write something I feel like needs to be put out, we'll just put it out. We won't wait to make a whole album."

Threads is set for release via Big Machine Label Group on Aug. 30.

Did You Know? Crow was once a background singer in Don Henley's solo band.

Sheryl Crow's "Prove You Wrong" Lyrics:

It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong / It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong / I got my mind made up and my high heels on / It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong

You said if you left / I'd be laid up in a bed of tears / I'd be going crazy 'cause without you baby / I'd be sad and lonely 'round here

Chorus:
It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong / It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong / I got my mind made up and my high heels on / It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong, no / It wouldn't take much to prove you wrong

I know you've told our friends / I won't find another man like you / But no one's gonna hold me, no one's gonna love me / Nothin' like the way you do

Repeat Chorus

You've been too busy talking / To even see me walking

Repeat Chorus
