Scam Alert: Thieves Switch Hoses in New Gas Pump Swindle [Watch]

This scam has not made it to the stateline area, yet, but it is being reported in other cities around the country. It's referred to as the "gas pump swindle"

If you pump gas, you'll want to be aware of the swift gas pump switcheroo.

When it comes to thieves,  it seems like every time you turn around they have come up with another way to separate you from your money. Now they are fooling you into filling up for someone else.

The person looking to get over will swap gas pump handles to the other side and when you swipe your card, you’ll be paying to fill the car on the opposite side of the pump.
