When Roxy Carmichael in Rockford announced it would be permanently closing back in August, many loyal shoppers were hoping that a new buyer would swoop in and save it. Well, someone just did.

A New Chapter For Roxy Carmichael

Roxy Carmichael Boutique first opened in Rockford nearly 20 years ago, but for the last seven years the store has been owned by Christine LaMantia.

The store moved from its original location at 310 N Alpine Road to the Edgebrook Shopping Center in 2023. Now it is embracing more big changes, a new owner, a new look, and new merchandise.

Christine LaMantia closed the doors of her Roxy Carmichael on September 30, but at the beginning of October she announced a new chapter was just beginning:

I’m delighted to share that this isn’t the end for Roxy Carmichael — it’s a new beginning. Roxy Carmichael Boutique will be continuing under new ownership!
The new owner brings with her a fresh vision and a deep appreciation for the heart and soul of this boutique. She’s excited to evolve the space in new and creative ways, while still honoring the spirit that made Roxy Carmichael what it is.

Roxy Carmichael Boutique's new owner, Noelle Tulley, has refreshed the aesthetic of the store, and has brought in new looks and brands she thinks all customers, including long-term Roxy Carmichael shoppers, will love.

The grand opening of the new Roxy Carmichael Boutique took place on October 15, but the celebration continues through October 18, so you'd better stop in soon to check it out!
