Every year Roscoe Middle School students are asked to do a community service project, and this year Ryan Anderson chose to honor a family friend who recently had away from lung cancer.

The team at the Swedish American Regional Cancer Center in Rockford took amazing care of Ryan's special friend during her cancer battle. They were also able to give her an additional five years she wasn't otherwise expected to have. This is why Ryan thought it was the perfect place to honor her memory with his special school project.

Oh, the goosies I have upon reading that. It's so nice to hear of young adults actually doing nice things for others. Well done, Ryan Anderson!
