Rockford’s Severe Weather Risk for This Afternoon

Looks like the Rockford area's chance for severe weather this afternoon has been upgraded a bit. 

It's a safe bet that we'll be seeing some severe weather later this afternoon and evening, with high winds and hail will be the major causes of concern, not tornadoes. (Fingers crossed!)

Also, I was just taking a look at the extended 2016 Spring forecast for the Rockford area on the Old Farmer's Almanac website, and it looks like we'll be on a seesaw of showers and cool temperatures, and sunshine with above average temperatures from now through the end of May.
