Rockford has a hockey star in the making. Get this. He's only nine years old!

WOW! How awesome is that. Tate Schmidt is only nine!

He may have a few years yet but I'm thinking we'll be seeing him in the NHL. We can all say "I remember him. He was the kid that got to play for the Chicago Junior Blackhawks team at nine."

Tate, seriously dude, I can't wait to see you sporting the official NHL Blackhawks sweater playing for the Stanley Cup!
