Rockford Restaurant Steps Up To Help Rebuild Playground

On June 18, 2019, vandals lit the playground at West View Elementary School in Rockford on fire. The destroyed playground was only a few months old, and it's a devastating loss for the students and staff at the school. Thankfully, one Rockford restaurant is stepping up to help rebuild it before the new school year starts. (Fingers crossed)

For the entire month of July, Stockyard Rock Burger Bar on W Riverside in Rockford will be raising money to help rebuild the playground at West View Elementary, and they need our help!

Please plan on having a meal (or two or three) at Stockyard Rock Burger Bar this month, and don't forget to bring along some extra bills to throw in their donation box.

Kids will suffer from the behavior of these vandals if we don't step up as a community to help them. Thank you, Stockyard Rock Burger Bar for understanding that and for doing what you can to help!
