Over the past week or so a slew of retail robberies have taken place in Rockford, and that is beyond...disappointing.  Local authorities now believe one suspect is connected to two of them, but they need our help in locating him.

According to a recent Rockford Police Department press release;

On Saturday, April 10, 2021, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Rockford Police officers responded to the Cricket Mobile Store (2410 S. Alpine Road) in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male subject walked into Cricket, approached the clerk, and implied he had a handgun. The suspect removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, exited the store, and fled on foot. He is observed to be a white male, in his 30’s, approximately 6’0” tall, with a tattoo on his left hand. The suspect’s description is similar to the Aldi robbery on April 8, 2021

Rockford Police have provided three photos of the suspect that were captured on the stores' security footage. The first two are from the Aldi robbery on April 8, and the last is from Cricket Mobile on April 10th...
