Rockford Police have announced charges for three men who they say attempted to burglarize a pair of local businesses.

According to police, officers responded to an alarm just before 2:30 a.m. today at Discount Tobacco and Pantry in the 600 block of South Rockford Ave. During their investigation, officers obtained descriptions of three men allegedly involved in the incident.

Also during the investigation, police were alerted to another alarm at Culture Shock in the 2200 block of Charles Street.

Officers investigating the second alarm were able to locate three men who matched the descriptions of those allegedly involved in both incidents.

Manuel A. Loredo, 20; Jessee C. Darby, 19; and Ryan C. Carmona, 20, all of Rockford were each charged with two counts of attempted burglary.
