Rockford Pizza Joint Tops Big Illinois Pizza List

Rockford has two massive food challenges in one location, The Godfather, and The Don. One of those two is the reason Mamma Mia's topped a BIG pizza list in Ilinois.

Many teams have tried to defeat The Don, a 32-inch pizza, and failed but one of my friends successfully finished the challenge with her teammate, both are food challenge professionals. This restaurant is known for two amazing food challenges, and pizza is one of them. (The other is a gigantic Italian beef sandwich). The pizza challenge is called "The Don," and it requires two people to complete one 32-inch pie in less than 45 minutes. This is certainly one of the biggest pizzas in Illinois, and it can be found at 1139 N Alpine Rd., Rockford, IL 61107

I can polish off a frozen pizza by myself without a problem but I have yet to attempt this monstrosity.
