Add this to the list of things you shouldn't do at night in Rockford if you don't want to be robbed.

According to a press release from Rockford Police, on December 17th a man was robbed at 2:00AM - doing something that's already unpleasant.

A Rockford resident was shoveling his driveway when a man approached him and demanded cash. The robber had a gun in his hand, which is no match for a snow shovel. RPD reports the robber took some money and ran away. The victim was unharmed.

If only the thief had slipped on ice and busted his noggin. Such isn't the case, though, and police are still looking for information on the incident.

If you have any information please call Rockford police.
