Illinois Airport Adding Non-Stop Flights to Several Tropical Destinations

Chicago-Rockford International Airport has just announced the addition of more International destinations after recently adding non-stop flights to popular U.S. locations.

Non-Stop Flights to Los Angeles from Rockford Begin Soon

It was announced back in February of this year that a new non-stop route to LAX would begin out of RFD in June, and that month has arrived.

First direct one-way flights to Los Angeles were offered for as low as $79 when the Allegiant route was announced, and the first flight from Screw City to the City of Angels is about to happen next Wednesday, June 12.

Allegiant also added direct flights to the Music City of Nashville, Tennessee that began flights out of Rockford last month (May).

More Direct Flights to Tropical International Destinations Coming to RFD

Getting to the warm tropics from Rockford has just gotten a whole lot easier with the announcement that more non-stops to International cities from RFD are beginning in 2025.

According to the press release from the Chicago-Rockford International Airport, the new direct flights will be offered by Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations, and Travel Impressions.

Beginning in 2025, non-stop flights will begin from Rockford to these international cities:

Fly direct from Rockford to Costa Rica on Fridays beginning January 24, 2025.

On Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday you can catch a non-stop to Cancun from Rockford, beginning in January 2025.
