Rockford Bike Shop Named One of America’s Best Bike Shops

Here's some good news we all like to see when it comes to Rockford, a local bike shop was named one of "America's Best Bike Shops" by the National Bicycle Dealers Association.

For the second year in a row Kegel's Bicycle Store received the titled of being one of "America's Best Bike Shop"

According to Kegel's facebook page, "there are approximately 4,000 bike shops in the United States, and fewer than 300 were chosen to be named “America’s Best.”

How Kegel's was entered was through a detailed application that shops are asked to fill out "describing what sets them apart from the average retailer. Mystery shoppers then evaluated the business in more detail by visiting the store, reviewing their website, and contacting the shop by phone to assess the performance from a consumer’s perspective."

Kegel’s owner Robb Sinks says “Our customers, commitment to the Rockford community and high quality products and service have always been our top priorities. We employ skilled mechanics and salespeople who work with these priorities in mind. This is a great honor for Kegel’s to receive this designation for the second year in a row."
