Local Apple Orchard Season Starts This Weekend

Get ready to indulge in everything apple, spiced and pumpkin, because the local apple orchard season is upon us! Here's the official opening dates for a few of our favorite local orchards and fall fun tour stops. I can taste the cider donuts already!

• Valley Orchard in Cherry Valley - Current season already underway
• Curran's Orchard - August 22
• Edwards Apple Orchard - August 28
• The Pumpkin Patch - September 10

Local orchards were able to push up their opening dates this year due to higher apple tree yields, however some of your favorite orchard treats, like cider donuts and pumpkins, may still be a couple weeks off. I guess you will just have to plan multiple trips to your favorite orchards this year so you don't miss any of the yummyness. Oh, darn!
