Rockford Baseball Field Hosts Adorable Cubs Themed Wedding

Diamonds are a girl's best friend, right?

This weekend, Rockford was home to a super sweet baseball wedding at the Mercyhealth Sportscore baseball field.

I should say 'on' the field, not 'at,' because the bride literally walked down the dirt to marry her now husband.

Codie and Lisa Lang said 'I do,' on the field yesterday because that's exactly where they met six years ago.

While they haven't always lived in Rockford, they knew their love story needed a stop back to this baseball field for their nuptuals.

According to WIFR, the couple had a Cubs themed reception after the on field celebration.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!
