Anyone who knows about bargains, knows that you can find a ton at Goodwill Industry stores all over the Stateline area.  However, after many years, one of Goodwill's most popular bargains will go away as of January 1st.

Thousands of people shop Goodwill stores to find used clothing bargains everyday, but savvy shoppers in the Rockford area know the one day of the month, to get the best deal, is the last Tuesday of each month, when clothing is priced at $1.23. Goodwill bills this as their "1-2-3 Sale."

If you have even driven by any of the Stateline Goodwill stores on the final Tuesday of the month, you probably noticed people lining up at the doors before the store opens and a full parking lot, all day long.

The 1-2-3 sale has been a been a favorite of bargain shoppers for several years, but as Jan 1st, the 1-2-3 sale will be history. Goodwlll has announced that on Dec 26, 2017 it will hold it's FINAL 1-2-3 sale, EVER. All regularly priced used clothing will be $1.23 for one last time.

Here is the flyer I saw posted in the store.

Goodwill plans to replace it's most iconic deal with something new in the New Year, but we don't know if it will be as good. We're hoping!

Proceeds from sales of goods at Goodwill Industry stores go to the Goodwill mission. Goodwill operates retail stores in Rockford, Freeport, Machesney Park and DeKalb.
