Prediction: Major Earthquake to Strike on July 12

At dawn on July 12, 2014, a major Earthquake could hit the U.S. according to David Nabhan, author of a new book, "Earthquake Prediction: Answers in Plain Sight".

In the book, Nabhan claims that conditions favorable for several large earthquakes to come together in the dawn hours of July 12. Astronomical events will align and the Earth will be squeezed by immense gravitational forces too massive to overcome

He says the major quake could hit the Los Angeles area should occur at sunrise.

For centuries, scientists have been studying earthquakes after the fact to find clues which would help predict future occurrences. But, so far, an effective method has yet to be devised.
