In just a short drive, you can reach a place that is in the top ten for happiest cities in the United States.

I remember David Lee Roth, lead singer from Van Halen, saying, "Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it."

That quote always cracked me up.

If you are miserable in Rockford, money can buy you a tank of gas to see what happiness is.

Because according to bestlifeonline.com, Aurora, Illinois is one of the top ten happiest cities in America.

Here's what their research found...

"The cities with a combination of high happiness stats and low unhappiness stats rose quickly on our list."

I don't know about you, but I've been to Aurora a few times. It doesn't seem much different than Rockford. Except, they do have a gambling boat.

Maybe, it's Wayne and Garth that makes it so darn happy.
