Wisconsin - Where the beer is cold, the cheese is squeaky, and the living is easy!

A new WallletHub survey revealed the most and least stressed states in America. Here''s the top 10 most stressed states in America -

  1. Nevada
  2. Louisiana
  3. New Mexico
  4. West Virginia
  5. Mississippi
  6. Oklahoma
  7. Tennessee
  8. California
  9. Kentucky
  10. Texas

I don't see many Midwestern states on there! So what are the LEAST stressed states? Here's the bottom of the list -

  1. (41) Kansas
  2. (42) Montana
  3. (43) New Hampshire
  4. (44) Nebraska
  5. (45) Wisconsin
  6. (46) North Dakota
  7. (47) Iowa
  8. (48) Minnesota
  9. (49) Utah
  10. (50) South Dakota

There's those Midwest states we were missing before. Illinois ranked #30 on the list.

Turns out the land of beer and cheese is also pretty worry-free. Maybe it's because of this statistic -

Here's how WalletHub actually determined their survey -

WalletHub compared the 50 states across 41 key indicators of stress to determine the places to avoid and achieve a more relaxing life. Our data set ranges from average hours worked per week to the personal bankruptcy rate to the share of adults getting adequate sleep.

I have some questions about this survey. If I had to guess a state that would be the least stressed, I would pick Nevada. Because Vegas baby! But Nevada is actually the MOST stressed state. They ranked pretty low in terms of job security and pretty high in terms of divorce rate. So those are definitely contributing factors.
I'm glad that the Midwest is steady chillin'. And of course the Dakotas, they're always pretty low-key too. Like I mentioned, I think Wisconsin residents are all good with their beer and cheese life.
