A hot spot for accidents in Boone County will now be a thing of the past.

WIFR TV says that both Belvidere and Caledonia Townships have agreed to put stop signs on the intersection of Beloit and Orth roads.

The action was needed after a bus rollover that happened last week. It sent 10 students to the hospital, along with the bus driver and a driver of another vehicle.

This was a measure that had to happen. There have been at least 20 accidents this year alone.

In fact, a quote by Belvidere Township Supervisor Patrick Murphy says it best:

"Sadly it had to take a bus getting turned over to make the public aware of know how dangerous the Beloit and Orth road intersection is."
