One Rockford McDonald's has a new rule in place for customers who decide to dine in. The rule: You are not allowed to spend more than thirty minutes inside the business.font color=black>

WIFR-TV is reporting that a sign located inside the McDonald's at Kishwaukee and Broadway tells customers they have a 30-minute time limit to eat their meal before they have to leave.

The reason is crime.

  • Customers using drugs
  • Fighting
  • Telephone harassment

So far in 2015, police officers have been called to the restaurant 46 times. Just two days ago police say a drunk customer refused to leave.

Some customers say they feel rushed and are complaining.

No official word from McDonald's. This is not a first as similar signs have been posted at other Illinois restaurants.

Chime in! Do you think this is good or bad policy?
