When and Where Hamilton Is Playing in Chicago
Now on a national tour, Hamilton will set up shop at the CIBC Theatre at 18 West Monroe Street and run from Wednesday, March 4, through Sunday, April 26, 2026. A presale is already underway; you can purchase yours through Broadway in Chicago.

Background on Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Record-Breaking Musical
Created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton opened on Broadway in 2015 and became a runaway success. It was nominated a record-breaking 16 times at the 2016 Tony Awards, taking home 11, including Best Musical. Hamilton also took home a Grammy Award and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. A filmed version of the musical is also on Disney+.
