El Charrito Restaurant, at 4205 W State Street in Rockford, is the new culinary adventure for the former owner of Tacos El Toro on Auburn Street, Judith Robledo Cuebas. So, why the new restaurant?  According to WIFR, Judith was "ready for a fresh start with more authentic Mexican dining."

El Charrito is a family owned restaurant that is all about serving up fresh, authentic Mexican dishes, which go way beyond just tacos and burritos.

El Charrito is now open 7 days a week for dine-in and carryout from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
