A Delicious First Look at Northern Illinois’ Newest Brunch Bar

I have been waiting for over six months for Egg One Five Brunch Bar to open in Pecatonica, Illinois and now the wait is finally over!

What Is Egg One Five Brunch Bar?

Twice a day for at least five days a week I drive past this building on Highway 20 on my way home to Pecatonica.

Several years ago this building was a restaurant, then Diamond Motors moved in, and now the dealership is sharing the space with a new restaurant called Egg One Five Brunch Bar. 

When news first broke that this restaurant would be opening back in April 2024, the estimated opening date was early June, but the owners suffered some issues that kept pushing the opening back. Four months later, Egg One Five is finally open...and man, does it look GOOD!

Egg One Five calls itself "a sophisticated country inspired eatery that offers a delightful fusion of breakfast, brunch and lunch" and although they've only been open a few days, rave reviews are already rolling in. Here are a few that I've seen...

So good! My kids just declared this is their new favorite breakfast spot! And the service was fantastic.

The food was delicious! Atmosphere was amazing! Staff were very friendly!

You will not go wrong stopping here! The food was amazing, service was outstanding and you felt welcomed!!
