Regardless of what you may consider a beautiful college campus, there's a new ranking from Travel and Leisure of the 25 Most Beautiful College Campuses in the U.S., which includes an Illinois and Wisconsin school.

Several Midwestern College Campuses Dubbed 'Most Beautiful' in America

After reviewing and studying colleges and universities across the United States, from the "perfectly manicured lawns" of resort-like Florida campuses to the unique architecture of the "European-inspired Gothic universities of the Northeast, here are the top 3 Most Beautiful College Campuses in America:

1. Stanford University, California

A highlight of the gorgeous Stanford campus is the "mile-long, tree-lined Palm Drive leads up to the expansive green oval Main Quad," according to Travel and Leisure.

2. Berry College, Mt. Berry, GA

Known as "the world's largest contiguous college campus" it has over 27,000 acres of lakes, forests, and mountains. Henry Ford is the school's biggest donor, according to Travel and Leisure.

3. University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN
