Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary in Rockford took in 30 dogs that were left behind in the Texas floods and in danger of euthanasia recently, and now a few more of them are ready to find their forever homes.

The reason all 30 dogs are not available for adoption at the same time is because they are in desperate need of some tender loving care before they can safely enter someone's home permanently. They have been through a lot, are likely still terrified and skittish, and Noah's Ark is really taking the time to find the right family for each of the dogs.

The shelter desperately needs more blankets and beds for the additional animals they have taken in, and they also need more people to help care for them all.
