Miss Carly’s Needs Rockford’s Help Fulfilling Dying Man’s Wish

Sometimes you see a picture that moves you. Perhaps it's a picture of your kids that instantly fills you with joy. Maybe it's a picture of someone you loved and lost that fills you with longing. It can also be a picture of complete strangers that sends your emotions off the charts. That is exactly what happened to me yesterday when I saw this picture posted by Miss Carly's on Facebook.

For those of you that don't know about the extraordinary things Miss Carly's does for Rockford's homeless population, I encourage you to check out their website now to feel inspired.

Now for the picture that filled me with sorrow, compassion and an immense need to find a way to help...

Unfortunately, I do not have any connections to the Chicago Cubs to help make Pete's dreams come true, but I am hoping by sharing this someone out there who reads it will.
