Since October is national "Adopt a Shelter Dog Month", Miranda Lambert decided to bring along three puppies to her performance at the Grand Ole Opry last week to raise awareness for her MuttNation Foundation. Well, Opry staffers fell in love with one of Miranda's four-legged friends, so now the Grand Ole Opry has a new mascot, and boy is he cute!

Meet Charlie, a labrador/terrier mix who will make his official Grand Ole opry debut when the Opry Goes Pink for breast cancer on October 27.

The Opry is taking their puppy love a few steps even further this month in honor of Miranda and Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. Anyone who enters the code PAWS online when they purchase a ticket to the Opry will have part of the cost donated to MuttNation. Special canine-themes gifts are also for sale in their gift shops to benefit Miranda's foundation.
