Beloved Illinois Coffee Shop Makes Grand Comeback After 2 Year Closure
Remember when Mary's Market closed their Roscoe, Illinois location over two years ago and we all cried in our coffee cups because we thought it was a permanent closure? Surprise! I've got some good news for you!
Closure of Mary's Market in Roscoe
When Mary's Market announced that they were closing their Roscoe location back in February of 2022, many people were obviously shocked, but others (like myself) were hoping it wouldn't be permanent.
Here is the original announcement...
Yes, it very clearly said the Roscoe location would be closing permanently, but remember how bad staffing issues were back in 2022? So many businesses were struggling finding people to work, and low employee numbers were forcing many places to change their hours or sadly, close their doors for good.
Thankfully, the Mary's Market Roscoe location has a happy ending. Actually, it's more of a happy beginning part two.
Mary's Market Announces Reopening of Roscoe Location
On September 17, 2024 Mary's Market announced this pleasant surprise, and after reading through the post comments it seems like many Roscoe area residents didn't know this was happening either...
Mary's Market in Roscoe actually reopened for business on Monday, September 16, but its official grand reopening party isn't coming until later this month.
The building has gone through some renovations and improvements, but all your favorite Mary's Market menu items are still there, and some new options have been added too.
Miralem Botic, Marketing Director for Mary's Market, told mystateline.com;
Our team has worked tirelessly to create a dining establishment that honors our history while offering something new and exciting for our guests. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back.
Mary's Market is Roscoe is open Monday through Saturday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Make sure to stop by soon and say "welcome back!"
