(UPDATED 5.21.14 6:10pm) His name is Ivan Stoltzfus and he is an auctioneer and real estate broker, as well as a retired farmer. Ivan grew up farming with John Deere tractors and always loved the sound of a two cylinder engine. For year he dreamed of a cross country adventure on an old John Deere tractor to see the United States of America and to raise funds for a special mission.
That mission is to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project

Ivan is driving a 1948 John Deere Model A Tractor for the the long journey. With the help of a tractor club, Waterloo Boys of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the tractor was restored and then retrofitted with a 1984 Peterbilt model 359 cab. This tractor certainly has a unique look! It will be towing a 24' camper.

Ivan and his 1948 tractor will be crossing the Illinois line this Sunday and he will then be staying in Watseka, Illinois the 25th and 26th of May. Then mid week he will travel to Dixon where he will be staying the 30th to the 2nd, then travel to Moline where he will stay the 6th-8th.

100% of all monies raised will benefit the Wounded Warriors Project — an organization that supports injured service members. Ivan hopes to raise 1 Million Dollars for the Wounded Warriors
