Man Arrested After Making Threats on Rockford School Bus
There was a bit of a scare last week when the Rockford Police Department received a call about two teen fighting on a school bus. The situation took a left turn when police arrived near the intersection of Auburn and North Church Streets. When police reported to the calla man was on the school bus and had threatened a student with what appeared to be a firearm.
36-year-old Oscar Moreno had gotten onto the bus when it was stopped and threatened a student with a bb gun. He was eventually apprehended, arrested, and charged with four different offenses, including aggravated assault, resisting a police officer, disorderly conduct and a domestic battery warrant.
