Longtime Rockford Drive-Thru Undergoing Ownership Change

31 years is apparently long enough to own a drive-thru restaurant.

While no reason was given, and not really necessary, the Gasparini family who owns Bings Drive-In on Main Street in Rockford, announced on Facebook they plan to sell the business.

The past 31 years have been so eventful and important to our family! It is bittersweet for us to make this announcement, with all of the great years we have experienced and the great friends we have made. Bings will be undergoing new ownership. We are very excited to see what the future will hold for both Bings, the new owners, along without framily.  We thank you so much for some of the best years of our lives.

Many notes of thanks and reminiscing followed the announcement by Facebook users.
