A dinosaur drive-thru exhibit is being hosted by Milwaukee.

I love spending time in Rockford. There are so many fun activities, events, and attractions to enjoy. Sometimes, you just need to get out of town for a few hours. Luckily, we are located near a few other interesting cities. Milwaukee is definitely a place I like to go visit. It is not as busy as Chicago and a lot easier to get to.

With all the COVID restrictions, families are looking for a way to entertain themselves. Creativity has been in full force. One successful concept that has been started is the drive-thru. It is not a new thing but it is just more common right now.

For example, the Festival of Lights in Rockford during the holidays. Residents were able to check out amazing Christmas light displays without having to get out of their vehicles.

It is a pretty simple activity for families. Grab the family, jump in the car, and hit the road. You do not even have to get dressed up. Just throw on some comfy clothes. Then stop for some curbside food and you are all set. It gets everyone out of the house and have a little bit of fun. The kids love it.

Milwaukee has an interesting one coming up.

According to tmj4.com,

"A dinosaur drive-thru is making its way to town at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Sunday, April 18 through Sunday, May 2, 2021. Triceratops, T. Rexes, and more familiar prehistoric creatures will be featured in the Dino Safari with fun for the entire family. Dino Safari is the most educational interactive, and immersive drive-thru dino experience available."

Children are huge fans of dinosaurs, Paleo Fest at the Burpee Museum in Rockford is huge every year. I took my daughter to a walk-thru dinosaur display at Brookfield Zoo when she was little and we had a blast. I think this will be even cooler because it will give you a Jurassic Park-type feel.
