Parents, Grandparents, guardians, and babysitters, rejoice - kids eat free this weekend at two places in the 815. Steak 'n Shake is doing it again this weekend in Rockford and in Machesney Park. There's a catch, though. It's one free kid's plate for every $9 spent. Still, feeding a family of four for $20 is a good deal.
